Aconteceu na noite de domingo, nos Estados Unidos, o Billboard Music Awards 2012. A parte mais legal e bonita? O tributo feito por John Legend e Jordin Sparks à Whitney Houston, encontrada morta no início deste ano, no prêmio “Billboard Millennium Award”.
Enquanto Legend cantou “Greatest Love of All”, Sparks foi de “I Will Always Love You”. A escolha da ex-American Idol não foi fruto do acaso. A cantora – e atriz – aparece ao lado de Whitney no filme “Sparkle”, que será lançado em agosto deste ano.
As grandes vencedoras dos prêmios da noite foram Adele com 12 prêmios, seguida de Lady GaGa, com 4, LMFAO com 6 e Coldplay também com 4.
